The Noia Horse Party or How We Put the Camera on the Horse's Head

A medium-length documentary about the creation, development, legends, stories, and challenges of the biggest popular festival in the Cidade Ademar/Pedreira region. Created in a classroom at the Lauro Pereira Travassos State School in Vila Missionária in 2000, the festival brings together more than 5,000 people every year. Produced independently, the team followed this festival for 3 years, recording its characters, creators, students, school, and educators' opinions on the project. The Noia Horse Festival is an example of how a teacher in a classroom can change a school, a team, and a community.
