LETTERS TO THE CITY I

The "Letters to the City" action is part of the An.dor project - The streets are for dancing! (Project funded by Public Notice No. 04/2019 of the Cultural Action Program – Proac Circulation of Dance Performances in the State of São Paulo).

The poetic action "Letters to the City I – Matão, Birigui and Tatuí" was an invitation to residents to write about their affections, desires, and dreams for the city they inhabit, through a creative writing game. Based on these letters, the company created this video as a way to update the An.Dor performance and promote direct interaction with residents, since the Covid-19 pandemic makes it impossible for the group to be directly in the streets presenting their work in the cities.

We thank the residents of the cities of Tatuí, Matão, and Birigui who contributed their stories, affections, and memories to the realization of this work.
